10. Colonial Blvd Area

Two of the more established country clubs are located along the Colonial Blvd Corridor, Colonial Country Club and Heritage Palms.  Colonial Country Club has a 10,000 sq. ft community center that houses a library, craft room, and exercise room.  It also boasts eight Har-Tru tennis courts and two hard surface courts, lit for evening play.  The 18 hole golf course was designed by Gordon Lewis and comes complete with a putting green and driving range.  The community also has nature trails and neighborhood parks.

Heritage Palms is a gated community with 1662 residences with a fabulous club house and restaurant complete with a dance floor.  It also boasts a 38 acre lake not to mention two 18 hole  golf courses.  Heritage Palms also offers heated swimming pools, tennis and even chipping and putting practice greens.  If you really enjoy the outdoors, make an appointment to see the homes available today.

Pelican Preserve offers single family, villa homes and condos for folks 55 years and older.    It features the Chip Powell designed golf course as well as 38 acres of nature preserve in addition to the many sidewalks and walking trails.  If you enjoy outdoor entertainment, Pelican Preserve even has an outdoor amphitheater called Plaza del Sol.

The gated community of San Simeon is a Townhome development close to I-75 that features a community club house, heated swimming pool and children's play area.  There is a wonderful lake with a fountain in the center of the community.  The last phase of development is now underway.  Come see what San Simeon has to offer!
